Jumped the Gun

Unfortunately, we can't actually take our new furry friend with us because Fiji requires all cats to have been rabies vaccinated at least six months prior to entering the country. I even emailed and asked if it was okay because American Samoa is rabies-free, but apparently since it's not officially rabies-free (probably some paperwork that was never completed) it doesn't count. Alas! But Mona said she'd send us pictures sometimes!
GUESS WHO'S 30?!?! Yesterday marked 30 years since Tom was born and one year since we left Seattle, and boy, how far we've come! It's been a wild ride sometimes but worth every minute! We hiked what seemed like forever and Tom got to go geek out over some abandoned rusty cable car towers, and I rescued three baby chicks from a ditch to deep for them to jump out of.
We're leaving for Tonga tomorrow, and here are some highlights of American Samoa:

Sunset over Pago Pago harbor

At Tisa's Barefoot Bar by the beach!

Morning fog

Sarong it's right!

Something's missing here...

Some new friends we made while out for a walk to see some cannons

Wut?!

Jenna to the rescue!
